    I agree, its "too" used, but i still like it.
    If its ww2 period, ill will try to get it.

    I have one too, I think most where used in Korea and even Vietnam,
    The breast pockets are for a flotation bladder
    ohh I saw a repro today with 4 buttons and it passed the blacklight test

    Rene,I have friends that were in the 'Corp during 'Nam. They were looking for the H.B.T.'s so they would look like old salts. Your statement about the repro shirt is not good.

    A few of the more recent WWII movies, made here in the states, created a big market for "Movie Props". I've seen several H.B.T. jackets at local shows that are aged and made to look the part. I'm sure a mess of these are floating around being passed off as authentic. Just a heads up.

    Sorry it took so long to get back to you buddy.
    The 3 pocket is WWII. 2 pocket are post war. You will find 3 pockets that have a pocket removed but usually you can tell by the color difference. Field modifications were common. Hope this helps you friend. I would dig a 3 pocket out but I'll be damned if I can remember where I have put them.

    looks kinda like a combat uniform. the color doesnt look exactly ww2.
