    The U.S. Air Force became an independent service in 1947, and was no longer part of the U.S. Army.
    These could well be WWII issue.

    I would consider them to be WW II.
    Iwould like to see the complete suspenders but from what I see they look like the pair on my A10 pants that I got from a WW II vet years ago.

    I'll grab a couple photos tomorrow , one of the leathers is broken , there a couple other things I've got to photograph . Thanks for the replies .
