BOS - Branch Of Service insignia, in this case armor branch, I think... The officier's BOS should be wear on the lower part of the lapels. Sorry, I have not seen the Lt. bars on the shoulders, they're really ok!

My brain was not working I could not for the life of me figure out BOS. Yes I know it is missing the Officers Tank collar brass, but If I ever come across a set I will pick them up for it.
