WWII leggins

Article about: Are these WII 1940 or 1942 leggins. Is the 9-30-42 the date of these leggins? Is there a difference between the Marine Corps, Army Nurse Corp and the Army leggings. Thank you

I know some of the USMC leggings are marked inside, but I was also told it has something to do with the number of hole they have for the strings, these one look like the are Army to me
