1940-44 Franco-British Association Merit Medal.

Not a medal you come a cross every day!
A medal honoring citizens of both countries who worked together during WW 2 .
I didn't know it's exictence untill today!
I found it in a house clearence allong with the other bunch.

I agree with the above statement! Nice medal. I also like those Agricultural achievement medals. Not military but still lovely looking.

They come like weed here! You find them on every corner of the street.
Just saw Snyders sell's them as a WWII item!! :-(
