    Great start to the collection!!

The Canadian made and issued defence medals are made from silver and are worth more than the British ones because as the guys have stated they are made from cupro-nickle.

    Thanks, gentlemen!

This stuff isn't commonly collected here. I'm glad to have a collection that represents stuff that's beyond what is most common near me.

There will be a lot more Canadian silver medals in the US than
British ones, due to our proximity. It can be hard to tell the
difference sometimes, but generally the cupro nickel types
are dull and have have little or no patina.

There is likely a similar situation in the UK with American
medals - whether they are WWII or later.........
    Regards,

    Steve.

    Thanks, Kevin!

Pacific and Burma stars should be easy to add to this grouping... An Air Crew Europe star will be a different story! I think I am only missing these 3...

Should these medals be displayed in any particular order?
