This organization has been around and selling "Vet" crap for many years. Personally, I think they are just typical bandwagon scammers looking to make a buck off softheaded suckers, but who know? Maybe they really Do help someone besides themselves?

Ekegelmann....I would suggest contacting the organization itself. It has been around by this name since 1949 and still exists today. They do have a store on their site that offers trinkets and such for sale, but no belt buckles currently. But they do have a phone number, address and an email address as well on the site, so I am sure someone there will be able to answer your questions. As for value, I would not expect such an item to bring a large amount, as they were mass produced for fund raising and such, so they are certainly not rare or valuable to a large amount. The materials it is made from look to be simple brass with an attached enamel badge, etc. Good luck on the hunt! I see that you tried to get $39.99 plus shipping for it on eBay,though and it did not get a bid...
