Impicked this Cased and numbered Spanish War Service Medal at an auction this last weekend too.
Numbered on the rim.

Does the number on the medal match the case? Can we get photos of the back? Not going to lie, I'm exceedingly jealous of your find; I've been looking for one of these medals to complete a set for ages (I have the fat 1/2" ribbon, the rosette and period vintage miniature), and either just miss it or didn't bid high enough...excellent pick up!!!
