Any idea on what occasion thise medal as been made for!?

I know it doesn't look it in the photo's, but it's actually made of bronze. It was produced in the 1980's for a French publishing company, the reason why I don't know! Value wise, these are seen occaisionally on Ebay for around 20 euro's.

We shall stick it out to the end, but we are getting weaker of course, and the end cannot be far.
