This looks like a badge for the Régiment d’Infanterie Coloniale du Maroc (Regiment of Colonial Morocco). This is where the RCIM comes from. Douaumont is the Fort where the regiment fought during the Battle of Verdun. By wars end it was one of the most decorated French regiments and took heavy losses.
