First type Indiia 1895 service medal with relirf of Chitral clasp

I recently obtained this medal but can not make out exactly what the engraving says. Could someone who is familiar with this type of engraving help me out?

This is what I think it says;
LERG F. NORTH COMR TRANSP DCP

I believe F. north served with the 2nd Battalion, Oxford Light Infantry, Punjab Frontier and Tirah. If you have more information of if I am not correct please let me know.
