Thank you for looking and all the kind replies gentlemen and I know there is a air crew europe star out there with my name on it I just need to be patient.
Regards Mark K
Forgive my inexperience but what does TR stand for? I've seen the term thrown around but I don't fully understand what it means
I Really like that star...excellent aged look and in great shape I have a few campaign stars myself, all I'm missing is the Burma stat, the pacific star and of course the coveted air crew Europe star...I feel your pain in the search for the last mentioned, but patience will surely pay off, as it has for me on a few instances already
nice star, its a shame that the medals didnt get engraved in the UK. My grandfathers medals are all engraved with his name and service no. its really makes it so much more personal.
good luck finding that air crew europe star
regards Paul
I was at a militaria show this past Saturday, and saw
an Aircrew Europe Star selling for $450 CDN.
Overpriced, IMO.........
Regards,
Steve.
Ouch !!!that is a little steep on price at $450 Steve the average price I am seeing out there is about $350 .
Regards Mark K
Yes Mark, this is what I thought too. It was advertised at that price,
but will probably sit in the dealers tray for a long, long time.........
Regards,
Steve.
Ah, now it makes sense, I should have known that; thank you for clearing that with me...I agree that 450 is way too steep a price for that star, he will not make a sale for a long time at that price
