You lucky sod! Pride IS the deadliest sin! You sinner! you're very lucky to have these. I get mad when I se those pawn shopshows where people go in the shop and are like," I found my grandpas ww2 medals and uniform in the attic after he died...can I sell it? $50 ? okay, I'll take it!" instead of cherishing the family history and passing them down to heirs. Pisses me the F$%! OFF! I would KILL for my G-pas stuff. My two cents....

Treasure your Grandpa's awards and insure that you pass them to someone in the family who will do the same.

Nice display of your grandads medals and badges ect, what a treasure to have, i have my brothers and my dads on display in my room; I must agree with dean about people selling family pieces for a few bob, Insane if you ask me.

Did you staple the medal ribbons to the backing? I'd be afraid of the staples rusting and staining the ribbons...
