Hi Alex, i have a few upcoming ''hits''

but no bronze class of the war cross yet. I will have a set, framed by the vet with 3 medals inside but the cross is of the gold class again.
Slowly slowly i will complete many sets. I will collect these crosses like the EKs

Finally it has arrived.
1st the 1940 war cross 1st class.
2nd the medal for outstanding acts 1940.
3rd the commemorative medal of 1940-41 (see post #5 above)
On the reverse it's written: Infantry lieutenant Ch. Kostopoulos, Albania 1940.

The second one is not a WWII medal but i'm showing it here anyway. Hope it's not a prob.
A 1974 Greek medal for the commandos of 1st division who came by plane and landed with parachutes in order to fight against the Turkish invasion in Cyprus.
Obverse: ''Commandos Association '74''
Reverse: ''Airborne landing during the night of the 21st - 22nd of July 1974. Commandos 1st Division from Maleme Crete to Nicosia Cyprus''
