This is a U.S. Navy ribbon bar including the Vietnam period............

The first on the left is a Bronze Star, with a second award star,
and It appears to have had a 'V' for valour glued onto it
    at some time..... Next are:

    Purple Heart Medal,
    Combat Action,
    Navy Presidential Unit Citation,
    Navy Unit Commendation,
    Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation,
    National Defence Service Medal,
    Vietnam Service Medal,
    Navy Sea Service Deployment,
    Vietnam Gallantry Cross Unit Citation,
    Vietnam Civil Actions Unit Citation,
    Republic Of Vietnam Campaign Medal.

The Commendations are 'ribbon only' awards. There are
also some devices missing on a few of these.
Value is about $20 to $35, I'd say.

I have one similar to this, which I picked up 6 or 7 years ago.
It is from a U.S. Naval seaman, who was in WWII and Korea.

Generally, you can place values on these bars by adding
up each ribbon individually at $2 to $3 each.
perhaps a little more for WWII bars........

$35?? I'd say $12-$15 average and $20-22 on a good day. This is especially because its vietnam era, the "V" device is missing from the BS (and there's damage to the ribbon), there was a device removed from the Naval Meritorious Unit Commendation ribbon, and aside from the BS and PH ribbons theres no other ribbons of sheer significance, IMO

The halloween costume sounds like a great idea, just be careful where you go with it so people don't take offense if they ask you questions about how you earned your BS and PH haha
