Article about: This really nice WW2 grouping was bought by Paula the wife for a late Birthday prezzie a few weeks back. The group of medals here belonged to 1451341 L/Sgt Eric Francis Child, Royal Artiller

Mate, I read it as transferred to the field branch of the territorials 25/12/45 and discharged in 1954 after reaching the age limit. So yes, discharged from the regular army 1945 and transferred to the TA but that's only what I'm thinking, so I could be wrong.
