Strange large medal that I picked up. Need help to identify

Article about: I picked this up for \\$2 at an auction last weekend. I can not find it in any of my books. There any of you folks that can help me figure out what and where it is from. Thanks in advance

    My thoughts exactly...Boy Scouts. I was a German Boy Scout (DPSG-Deutsche Pfadfinderschaft Sankt Georg) and the "LILIE" was/is our symbol, also seen on our belt buckles ...
