'One question for you. Are any of your wings marked "coin silver" ? I have only a few wings and one is marked that way and was wondering if the coin silver type are uncommon or not.............'

Sorry for the huge delay, Josey, if I haven't already replied to your question earlier,

Wings marked 'Coin Silver' are not that common, and are known as
the 'Juarez' pattern. Two I have of the same large and unusual
    design are only marked 'Sterling'.

If anyone is interested in U.S. wings - or any military wings,
there is a really great site: ' ww2wings ' which shows
    many types from many countries...........
    Regards,

    Steve.

    US Aviation Wings 3"
My son recently received this pin from my father's widow for his 21st birthday. Since he is in the Airforce, we were hoping to try and find out where this came from. Hoping someone can help us. the back has "Bomisa Milano" stamped on it

That would be my guess as well. Are they 2" in width ? Interesting because
they are an American design, but made in Italy.........

Hey Steve, do you have some detail on a Fox made pilots clutch back? I'm eyeing off my first one at the min. Pretty sure it's a good one.
Fantastic collection there I must say!

    Cheers Steve,
    Now that's crap
Have you updated this lot recently? Plus I'd like to see all of these in detail, but I understand if it's a bit difficult to do so.
The Fox is on it's way and I'll post it here if it's ok Mate?

Well, the pattern on that Fox wing is common - it's the maker/logo
that is the difference. I have several in the 'slick' pattern - some
    maker marked and some not.

I've added a few pieces here and there - mostly Navy wings.

Rene - if you need to see a particular one in detail, I can
post pics, but best to go to the site below. The best
site for wings that I know of:

Aviation Wings and Badges of the World Wars
