cheers steve but the engraving is faked im informed i got them off ebay about six or seven years ago from a notorious faker in western Pennsylvania i didnt know at the time but hey the medals are period so good for display anyway

im not sure mate but he put out a lot of fakes on ebay around six to seven years ago below is a site which referes to him Purple Heart History
