    Hello
I have recently bought these silver USAAF pilot wings at my local antique store. I believe that they may be WWII period. Can anyone enlighten me on these wings which I'm hoping are genuine.

    Attachment 507192

The wings are just over 3 inches in length, (8cm). They are in well worn condition.

The pin and catch appear period.

The wings were made by GEMSCO, NY and the end of the word Sterling is also visible, indicating that they're silver.

Thank you for any further information provided.
