Here is a really amazing site devoted to WWII wings, and wings of the world.
I refer to it often when researching wings that I don't have, or dream
of finding. There are also one or two post-war wings mixed in
that are mistakenly ID'ed as WWII on the site..........!

Thanks Steve is there any way I can identify them as WWII vintage or not?

Guess the simple answer is no, they are not - probably 1950's era, but they could
go either way, as I noticed on 'WW2Wings' your exact badge, only it's in sterling
so I would like to think they are from WWII. ( If it makes you feel any better,
I paid around $60 to $80 each for those Meyer Pilot wings ! )

If you locate wings marked 'Amcraft', 'Amico' or 'A.E. Co.' you can't go wrong.
There seems to be more of these three makers out there..........
    Regards,

    Steve.

I think mine might be legit I found this on another site, but they markings could mean late 40s-early 50s the only flag I see is what you mentioned that they do not have a sterling mark.

N.S. Meyer still use this shield logo, and although the above illustration
shows the many variations of it over the years, it is somewhat
difficult to decipher the line drawings, as they each look
more or less the same. This logo is used on modern
    Meyer restrikes as well.

Late 40's early 50's is where I place mine, but I keep them
in a case of WWII era wings anyway.........
