ww2 canada medal miniatures

Hello I am new to the fourm and new to collecting medals just been doing it for a few months. I was hoping some one could look at these and let me know if you think these are real or not.

There is no such thing as "real" Minis..the question is weather they are "period" or more modern, Both sets look Period to me and I have had several sets over the Years.

Dean is correct. They look period to me as well.........

Just another thought, the first set I think is British as there is no CVSM as there would be for a group like that.

Thanks guys i really appreciate it. Yes i was thinking that myself about the first photo. Also is there any idea about how many soldiers had these medals made after the war. I know this is probably a dumb question but why did the soldiers have these made was it purely for dress in events.

These could be bought through any Military Tailor or Supplier.
