WWII US sterling jump wings

wwii sterling jump wings . its marked sterling but its hard to read . their are 4 holes in the medal and nt sure why and how do i know if their wwii jump wings? i only paid $10 for it .

Looks to be it is not WW2. Probably an item sold at an army navy store. I don't think these had pins, but a long pin on a swivel.
