Default Arab Legion badges and patches

I posted these here because it was the best fit……clinging on to the fact the British set up the Arab Legion.

I couldn’t resist picking these up at a flea market in Tel-Aviv yesterday, the badges from one stall and the patches from another.

The first two badges are Arab Legion cap badge and epaulette badge, I’m assuming these are Six Day War period trophies.

The other badge, I have no idea what it is, or even what way round it is supposed to be, it doesn’t look Israeli and they were all in the same box. Any thoughts on the I would be welcome.

The patches, the should patch believe translates to ‘Kings Guard’ or ‘Royal Guard’ or something similar, I can find any information on these at all, but the crown is definitely Jordanian, again I would appreciate any enlightenment on that.

It's on my list as well, and the Palestine Police spiked helmet, I've only ever seen one of them and kick myself for not getting it.

Check this thread out.....for a top shelf Jordanian helmet
    British desert helmet?

Here's a great photo of soldiers returning form the Six Day War with Jordanian trophies

I picked up few more Jordanian bits and pieces this week.

I'm assuming the are epaulette badges, or possibly cap badges, but need to do a bit more digging. The crown badge is three piece with green felt and a brass backing plate.

The bush hat is French and was used by the IDF during this period, there are no stamps in it which is a bit unusual, I don't think there is much chance of it being Jordanian issue so I'm assuming it's a trophy hat to show off during reserve duty. This was in antique shop, I was in two minds but finally went for it and don't regret it.

I got talking to the owner and he pulls out this from the bottom of a pile of old Israeli flags, captured Jordanian army flag....no way I was going to resist that. I don't have anything to measure it with here, but roughly 4ft (1.2m) x 2ft (0.6m).

I had never seen one before, but the owner has a lot of militaria that is to my knowledge accurately described (if a bit pricey on some stuff), so I took him at his word after a feel and a smell. For what I can find on the internet it all seem to check out and it looks extremely similar to the one in this picture.

Looking forward to next Friday he told me he has a beret somewhere..

I'll throw this is in, Syrian cap badge from the same period.
