Army remount service cap badge original?

Anybody have an opinion on the authenticity of this cap badge. I know that there are some really good copies, is this one of them? Many thanks

looks as if someone painted it green to try and fake age it.


A shame you could not post decent pics of it when asking if it is good or bad, though as you might have guessed, I think it is a POS and is a known fake type, but my opinion is based on the cack piccies.

Many thanks Jerry. Some more pics. It looks like metal polish under a glass but difficult to get good pics. Please see more pics. If this is a fake, repro, please could someone explain why as i wish to learn about this. Cheers Martyn
