Does your camera have a macro setting? if so stand back, Zoom in and use flash- this is to prevent the flash from whiting the badge out

Re: Austalian Commonwealth Military Forces Cap Badge WW-2 ?
Hey mate the badge is WW2 issue and it was made by K.G Luke Melboure, This manufacturer has a very distinct style as their dies were slightly different and also finish on them is very distinct too... We didnt produce these 1907 patt general service 'rising sun' badges after ww2 as regimental badges came back into use in 1948 and this badge was also replaced in 1948 by the newer version that just had Australian Military Forces written in the scroll.
Hope this helps
Luke
