Hello All! Another purchase from this evening. I know some of you have a great level of expertise when it comes to cap badges so any advice on originality and age would be great. Made of Brass and has bent lugs.

    Thanks

Queens own Cameron highlanders, nice clean strike and maybe an early example. Brass you say, the ones I have are white metal, but if early as I think, that is probably not a problem. Certainly looks good IMHO, I like his left foot which is again a sign of an early example, circa WWI but maybe earlier.

By my reckoning Queens Own Cameroon Highlanders 1898/1961 going by the head and left hand.

I've heard the brass ones are a mid-WWI economy pattern?
