thanks Ade thought so as the metal parts looked very new but the seller did say i was poss repro but i went for it as the pouch & canteen came with it & for £25.99 i thought it was a good price & i'll keep a look out for a real belt to replace it

I still have hard time getting around US webbing being reproduced. It always used to be so plentiful, but that was 20 years ago now.....

some more new pieces another PUC this is ive been told is a 1960's onward version& the patches areThe PUC is 1960's to now based on that D22 hallmark - Denmark Military Equipment Co of New York.The 2 bullion patches date from WW2. The bar represents 6 months service overseas (WW2). The chevron represents 6 months overseas during WW1 (this one is as worn during WW2).
The cloth pieces are also Officer Grade bullion, but the PUC is of more recent manufacture, possibly current issue.
