    Formation signs or patches were intended to be worn on each sleeve in combination with the shoulder titles.

    This machine woven patch is from the NSW 1 Amoured Brigade circa 1950-1960. Formation signs within the Australia armed forces were discontinued in 1960, with the introduction of the American based pentropic system.

    This patch is relatively scarce.
