The old saying give a man a fish and he will eat for a day teach a man to fish and he will never go hungry
correct my friend, the exact point of my statement. The old saying give a man a fish and he will eat for a day teach a man to fish and he will never go hungry
This is my preferred version of that saying -
This of course is unrelated an a joke
For basic patches and ribbon pins it is usually a lot easier to google them to get results since most collectors do not remember the 100+ basic patches and that is what they do to get you the answer unless it is a popular unit.
Just my opinion but any posts are welcome
In order to tell the age take a closer picture so you can see the detail on the edges of the patches and a picture of the reverses
I am, however, still stonewalled on the left hand ribbon! I've looked through an endless number of reference materials I've got here and an even larger number on-line and I have yet to figure out what ribbon that is! Perhaps the colors didn't come out well in the photo or they may have faded into a different color altogether, but whatever the case, I have no clue as to which medal it represents!
