    I think you are correct Josh about the trading though I assume that many ex service men might have moved to Australia after the war as well, which might account for some of them and if any British troops were stationed in Oz or passed through on their way to the far east, they might also have left some behind.

    I got two more dragons in yesterday. I'm very happy with these two new additions. And my first cap badge which I believe Jerry said was WW1.

    The cap badge is for the 3 battalions of the Monmouthshire regiment during WWI. Very cool and mine is shown earlier in this thread along with the pre WWI version in white metal. The collar dragon for the Welsh is also a good looking beast.
