How to identify WW2 patches.

I have a collection of patches from what I think is ww2. What are the ways of identifying authentic patches from WW2.

Photos would be a logical start!

Photos would be helpful. US WWII patches are typically 'cut edge',
and have white or green thread on the reverse.........

Now that I've gotten the time, here's the patches. If needed I will post more detailed pictures if needed.

The Air Force rank patches are post WW2 ,They are for an E2,E3 and E4 airman. The Air Force was created on September 18th 1947 . Prior to that it was the Army Air Force and before that it was the Army Air Corps and they used the US Army rank insignia. I do not know about the other patches.

Don't know how to tell either but I thing the eagle patch is the 101st airborne. I might be wrong though

Can you post close up photos of the other patches so we can see them in detail? Natural light would help, too... in the current lighting conditions, your 101st AB patch looks subdued (aka camouflage green and black)

I feel the air force cevrons are post 1947 USAF as opposed to WW2 USAAF.

Airforce stripes and the 101st ABN are not WWII - the 101st screaming
eagle patch is post 1968 - likely within the last 10 or 20 years.

The 3rd Army, 7th and 66th Infantry Division insignia look
period - ie: cut edge patches........
