On the bottom looks like a french fleur-de-lis ,some of the other Texas units use it too,but I couldn`t find your pin...Pete.

I found it! The pin is the DUI for the 343rd field artillery battalion, they were part of the 90th infantry division. They were activated at camp Barkley Texas, and there motto was semper paratus(always prepared) thanks for looking.

I started to look too, but there are a lot of units with
'Semper Paratus' as their motto. Lol - nice that
you were able to ID the DI.........!
