Info on this USAAF patch

Hi MC, thanks for the link great info.....I have a few patches which are all a dark blue,this is the first one that i have seen as light blue????

I would suspect this to be a theatre (overseas) made example.

I have seen this colour before.

It is just a custom made one, IMO. Soldiers paid local tailors to make the custom patches since it was a trendy thing to do... So the colors of the patch depended on the colors that the particular tailor had.
