Hi

..
Various WWI-Era Military Buttons, including two German ones (w/the crown)...
cheers, Glenn
I see only 3 real army buttons.
The 2 like Glenn pointed out, and the small American, all other seem to have good fronts, but mounted on cheap back's like they use to do for commercial buttons.
To me front parts and back parts must have come from different syplyers or different time periode.

There is even one missing a front part, they just put a cut out eagle immediatly on the back part!
They could come from a old button factory, scrap that didn't made to the bin, probaly taken by a employee!
Thise doesn't mean that they are rubbish, you could sell them as a curiosity, but not for much.
cheers

Hi
thanks guys for the info
Tony
The one that has Waterbury Co. stamped on the back was a company that made buttons for the US military for years. The silver ones that have us army were used for the trousers during ww1.
