    Any idea what the numerals depict ? My Father was in the Tank Corps so I would think this may have belonged to my Great Uncle of the Lancaster Regiment, the Kings Own. WW1.(My avatar )

    The numerals XXX 30th East Lancashire Regiment and XL 40th South Lancashire Regiment amalgamated in 1958 to become the Lancashire Regiment (Prince of Wales Volunteers).
