Ive done my best to help my self and failed so over to you,i can not find the buttons either in any references they are an anchour on a star and i have a full set of tunic size ones.

Looks like Royal Indian Navy items to me, possibly Ww2 period. The small cap badge could be earlier.
Try and search "Royal Indian Marine". As I am sure Ocad is correct
