    Gday fellas,
Would these wings have been issued to those who manned Airborne jump training balloons and semi rigids etc?
    Or something completly different?
    Cheers fellas

Hi Rene. I may have one of these cloth balloon wings around someplace ! ?

Cloth wings of any type were not favoured as much as the metal ones
and so the cloth versions are not found in used condition too often,
though they are seen being worn in Pacific/tropical regions in
period photographs - as well as in Pacific Veterans effects.
    Regards,

    Steve.
