    Hi Ade
Would it be of any help to tell you the Adjutant General's Corps (AGC) Lanyards were/are Red & Black!

I'm thinking for all ranks of the RAOC (red and blue twisted) as approved on 2 June 1950.

Lanyards, they certainly appear to be one of the least understood of any British insignia. Four members responded all with a different answer, which is about right in my experience.

    Thanks for the input anyway.

This one came on a 37 pattern BD devoid of any insignia.

There is certainly scope for a book on lanyards....

    Cheers, Ade.
