    Hi
Ive bought a couple of 23rd IR badges. I hope they are genuine WW2 era. They are a gift for some relatives of a 23rd IR soldier KIA in July 1944.

They have a GEMSCO NY marker and look the real deal but any advice on authenticity would be appreciated.

    Hi David

With this being Hall marked GEMSCO NY and it being a broach or pin backed would be WWII era.

Phill, much appreciated - they will be going to the relatives of a WW2 Normandy 23rd IR KIA so being able to say they are period will mean a lot. David
