I had always thought that was an old joke about regular army, we used to mess with newb's in the navy, we would cut in line in front of them at chow time & tell them make way regular navy coming through, they didn't know any better & would let us cut in LOL, but it was done to me on my first day.

I realy had no clue on how rare /sought after the blue devil was as on e-bay it can bring anywere from $200 -$350 wow thats crazy

great info ADE, I have a gold bullion 4th marine div. from ww2. I wouldn't sell it for anything. great patch Pammy, don't sell that one. I told you when you first posted the pic's that bullion patch caught my eye right off the bat I didn't even pay much attention to the other patches at first, but I collect patches also I have a lot of obsolete divisions & even a couple of rippled patches. take care.
