Default US pins i picked up at flea market

i was in branson MO visiting my extended family. i went into a thrift store and bought all the pins for $2.50. they had a russian cap badge type thing for 20 and a big blue swastika pin for 20 also but i didnt buy then. and i saw a ww2 looking helmet (US) for 44 but it looked like a medic helmet because it had a cross but the shell was painted black i didnt buy it but ill pot pics later. then one of my cousins who is a thief(20 years old) stole $20 from his brother(19 years old) and $65 from me and also the owner of the flee market had a german helmet and sold it for $100 a week earlier

Actually, the first US collar dog you posted is WW1 enlisted mans issue.

The PFC stripes are modern post war. I can give you an exact date on these. 1970's I suspect?

The other item is a USMC globe and anchor collar dog.

Sorry to hear of the thefts: disgraceful behaviour!

    Cheers, Ade.

just for grins, seems I heard that an original "ball and chain" insignia had a raised dot on the anchor, that designated it as WW2 issue.

WWII Marine globe and anchor collar insignia do not have a rope fouling the anchor. The cap badges do though.
