    I've added pics on post #9 of the makers mark I'm used
    to seeing on L. G. Balfour wings. Yours could have
    been made from original dies, so there would
    be no difference in size.

    It's entirely possible that they are repros or 'restrikes'
    - there's plenty out there. It depends on how badly
    someone wanted them, and what the price was.
    Flight Engineer and Liason wings are not that
    common and usually expensive.


    What do the clutch pins look like.........?

    The Engineer wings look to have clutch pins with
    'heads' on them - like a nail. The pic is very
    blurred, but is that so.........?

    I think Steve is looking for a clear pic of the pins and where they attach to the wings,not the clutches you posted.

    The regulations for the prong or 'nail head' type was
    specified in 1960, so the Capt. was correct.........
