I'm no closer to solving that one. The eagle has a 36 star flag under one wing, and the number 76 under the other. Beats me.
Here are the old Captains bars, (they arrived today) unmarked.
Some interesting colonel's insignia
Any idea what this is? It seems to have been made from silver wire.
General's star?
This one seems to have been hanging from a chain?
Andy
Edit
Colonel's birds are 1.5 inches wingtip to wingtip.
The Generals star is recent with black coating and 'D-22' code.
I believe the eagle with hanger rings is part of a patriotic
piece. Bullion rank is Captain, I'd guess.
'A.E. Co.' is American Emblem Company.........
