USAAF insignia. ww2 or fake? & what are the cap badges?
Article about: I recently won a grouping on ebay from a 381st bomb group vets estate. I know ebay is full of fake stuff but im sure this lot is good. Just wanted to know what you experts think of it? Thank

I think this is a buckle from a flying jacket but im not 100%. And the little brass bits look like belt ends? Nice id tag and one of his dog tags.
The square buckle is indeed an Enlisted Man's belt buckle, and as shown, belt tabs.

Next up is a small set of wings (sterling)
(sorry for doing this one thing at a time)
These small wings are 1.5"-1.75" and are known as 'Sweetheart' wings.
They are not regulation, but may have been worn on the overseas cap.
Three inch wings are for dress uniform. Two inch wings were worn on the shirt
or coveralls/flight suit. You might say; 'Three for show, two for go', meaning
the two inch wings were probably worn more often in combat.............
