Can anyone identify this (restrike) Victorian badge please ( centre right) ? I know that it is similar to be the Order of the Bath (right) with its grand cross, four lions passant between the arms, and three Hanover crowns, but it also bears the battle honours of The 34th Regiment of Foot from The Peninsular wars. I wondered if it could be some early 34th variant, as I know the regment did adopt the grand cross into their shako badge (left).
The 34th amalgamated with the 55th in 1881 to become The Border Regiment, which kept the cross & lions passant in its badge.
