Welch cap badges

Article about: Arrived today and picked up for 99p from ebay, Welsh regiment OR's white metal collar converted to a sweetheart brooch, though sadly it has since lost its pin.

    Waiting for this WWI RWF cap badge to arrive, notice it is WELSH with a S rather than the WELCH with a C as shown on the WWII Welch regiment cap badge.

    Hi Larry, no. The Prince of Wales Feathers were added due to Royal Patronage and merges with other Regts.

    Hi Larry,

    North Staffordshire Prince of Wales regiment. Many regiments were called the Prince of Wales or even the Princess of Wales and they usually incorporate the Prince of Wales Feathers on the badge, as in the example you have shown.
