    Cool What kind of patch is this?

    What kind of patch is this? It is on the upper right sleeve of my grandfather's Ike jacket. He was in the 13th air force. It is a circular patch 2.5" in diameter. It has a red border with a white background and a large 5-point star in the centre. Around the large star are 5 smaler blue stars. There is a large yellow/gold lightning bult diagonally coming in from the upper righthand side. Thanks.
