    3 for the Royal Artillery, they are the same design as the OSD collars, but were to be used as a cap badge during the war period. Two by Stanley & Sons, slightly different from different moulds and one by F&G, the only two known makers of this badge.

    Hi,
    could I ask advice on this badge, it's on that well known online site !, I would like to get this as dad told me he was issued with one of these when he was given leave in Cairo after the german surrender in Italy,

    Obviously a bit slow to reply as I have been out for the evening but as the others said a one looker original made by Stanley & sons. Should cost less than £15 at most, often you can get them for a lot less. A good condition example.

    The Soth Staffs is one of 40,428 made by Hopf Products limited. The Dorsetshire is one of 22,873 made by Roanoid Plastics Limited.
