I have never owned the RAMC economy version so I cannot comment on it. There were 196,736 of them made by Alfred Stanley & Sons, the only known maker of them and this appears to be marked to them.

    Jerry

    Whatever its just an opinion.

I have seen this raised strengthening on the rear of other badges before, nothing untoward.
Nice collection by the way Phillip.

My latest addition. Someone had at some stage glued the red felt backing cloth to the rear of the badge, but it was coming loose so I removed it for the pics.
    Some glue damage, unfortunately.

I'm not really a badge collector but every now and again I end up with the odd one, these being the latest.
First one is the Army Cadet Force. I'm guessing this is a real badge as opposed to some novelty thing that came out of a corn flakes packet, or is it? Since I don't really collect these my knowledge of them is limited to say the least. I'm not sure how it was attached as it would seem that part is missing?

The second one is one for the Border Regiment. This one has it's 'blades' from the back missing unfortunately and if you look closely part of the serpent/snake's tail is missing too.

I'll have to have a look and see what else I have stashed away, even though I don't collect them I seem to of amassed a pile of badges and I think there might be some other plastic ones with them? If there is I'll stick them on here.
